We used to come here often when we lived in the area. I’m back visiting after a couple of years and they still remember me and my family (who was not with me)! Food and service is always great!
The food was PHENOMENAL! Best we've had in West Michigan. So full of flavor and fresh. We were so, but the food was so good we couldn't stop eating. Portion sizes are large, as well. The atmosphere is inviting and calm. Our waitress was so sweet and worked quickly. We will definitely return anytime we're on this end of town.
Best tacos you can get without going to Mexico! Tacos Al pastor is my favorite, they taste so good, I don't know why their corn tortillas taste so good but they really add to the taste and texture. The presentation is great too!
Service was fast, the waitress was polite, and the food was great. There was a miscommunication about my order, but we were able to come to a quick clarification. We ended up ordering the birria combination, a camaron taco, 2 asada tacos, and horchata. The consome was very warm and the tacos were all very delicious.
Although there was a sign warning about a staff shortage...we were seated promptly, ordered drinks, & they were brought out right away. We ordered & were told it would be a few minutes, would we want an appetizer on them & we had chips & salsa. Our server was checking on us often & updating us on our order, while constantly serving a ton of to-go orders! When our order did arrive, the plates were heaping full, pleasing to the eye, & smelled delicious! The taste did not disappoint, either! My husband had the Wet Burrito which was so huge, he had to take 1/2 home! I had the fantastic Steak Fajitas! The tortilla's tasted homemade, were hot & fresh! The steaming hot skillet was heaping full of flavorful Steak, green & red peppers & onions! It came with delicious beans, rice, lettuce & tomatoes. I had to take more than 1/2 of my dinner home! This little Restaurant is a hidden gem on Alpine! Huge Portions, Delicious, Authentic, Big Selections all for a decent price served with Beautiful Friendly Smiles! You Should Try This Place! You Won't Be Sorry! We'll Be Back!

Had lunch here while waiting for my phone to be repaired at ubreakifix. The waitress was friendly and attentive. My meal arrived quickly and lived up to my expectations. The restaurant is clean.
This is the best Mexican food in west Michigan. I don’t need to go anywhere else. I moved to Grand Rapids from San Francisco about 4 years ago and just have not been very excited about the choices around here. Yes I’m particular about my Mexican food. I fly home and freeze burritos so I can bring them back in my luggage. This is the first time I’ve found a place that makes real authentic Mexican food that I like. Reminds me of home. I got delivery. I made a really weird mistake on my order and they called me immediately to verify what I was talking about. I’ll be coming into the restaurant very soon to eat again!
